Certified Organic, and Why It Sets Us Apart

One of our guiding principles as an intimate healthcare company has always been to use pure, natural, and organic ingredients in all of our products. But calling a product ‘organic’ doesn’t always stand for very much: ‘certified organic’ is where it’s at. 

What is ‘Certified Organic'?

“An organic product contains ingredients that have been grown on an organic farm. Organic is a way of farming that works with nature. Certified organic farmers and businesses work to a strict set of standards. These ensure that their products sustain the health of wildlife, nature and people.” – The Soil Association.

Certified organic products are those that have met strict guidelines set by recognized organic certification bodies. These guidelines ensure that the ingredients are grown and processed without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or other artificial additives. At AH! Unless a product is certified, there’s absolutely no guarantee it will be organic. To verify whether a product really is organic, look for a symbol from an independent certifier, like the Soil Association Certification that we carry on all of our products. That way, you'll know that every step of the production process is checked.
